Lisa Bloomfield
received her MFA in photography from California Institute of the Arts,
and a BA in anthropology from UC Berkeley. She is chair of the Digital
Media Arts and Design Department at Orange Coast College in Costa
Mesa, California.
Lisa’s artwork has been concerned with the interplay of text
and image in a variety of formats (billboards, magazine double-page
spreads, diptychs and installation as well as websites). Her work
has been featured in Top Stories, the CAA Art Journal,
Whitewalls, Camerawork, CPI Journal (Netherlands),and
Impulse Magazine. Her work has been exhibited widely.
Two Brothers is a collaboration with fiction writer Rod Val
Moore. It originally was constructed as a room installation with repeating

Rod Val Moore is a fiction writer
who lives in Los Angeles, California. His collection of short stories,
Igloo Among Palms, won the Iowa Fiction Award in 1994.
His work has also appeared in various small magazines. At present,
he is working on a novel.
