Brian Johnson is the author of Self-Portrait and Days on End (forthcoming Summer 2007). His poems have appeared in American Letters and Commentary, The Prose Poem: An International Journal, Quarter after Eight, Sentence, Connecticut Review, and many other journals. He is the recipient of an Academy of American Poets Prize, a Connecticut Commission on the Arts Fellowship, and two Pushcart Prize nominations. He teaches at Southern Connecticut State University.
