Peter Markus is the author of three short books of short-short fiction, Good, Brother, The Moon is a Lighthouse, and The Singing Fish. His novel, Bob, or Man on Boat, is forthcoming from Dzanc Books in the fall of 2008. His stories have appeared in recent issues of Denver Quarterly, Chicago Review, New York Tyrant, Sleepingfish, Another Chicago Magazine, Dislocate, and in the anthology New Sudden Fiction. Online his stories have appeared at 5_trope, elimae, failbetter, taint, Pindeldyboz, and Double Room, among others.
