Robyn Sarah
Robyn
Sarah was born in New York City to Canadian parents and grew up in
Montreal, where she still lives. She is the author of seven
poetry collections (most recently A
Day’s Grace), two collections of
short stories, and a book of essays on poetry. Her writing has appeared
widely in Canada and the United States and her poems have been
anthologized in The Bedford
Introduction to Literature, The Norton
Anthology of Poetry, and in Garrison Keillor’s Good Poems for Hard
Times. In 2005 she participated in the Festival franco-anglais
de
poésie in Paris and the Oxfam Poetry Series in London. A
selection of her poems in French translation, Le tamis des jours, will
be published this fall in Montreal.
